International project “Reflect the facts to act”

About Our Project

Profiled High School of Mathematics “K. Velichkov” has been a partner in a new two-year international project program Erasmus + (2015-2017). Partners of our school are high school Zashenvaldshule from Reinbek - Hamburg, Germany and  - IES Butarque, Leganes, Madrid, Spain.
The project aims to examine the ecological footprint that each of us leave, living on the planet and to explore and offer solutions that would reduce this footprint. The Ecological Footprint is divided into four areas: - Housing - Nutrition - Mobility - Consumption. Students from the three partner schools who аre involved in the project will examine their own environmental footprint, that of their family, school and city by offering ideas and suggestions on how to reduce pollution with carbon dioxide through changes in lifestyle, nutrition, transport and consumption. Within two years we hope to achieve a meaningful change in our school and the city.
